Hello & welcome!
I'm Pedro Oliveira,

In a BANI world, business must innovate systematically, but it is not rare to see them get messy when they try to improve the customer experience. Misaligned teams, lack of visibility of what really matters for the client,
no clarity about the main questions they need to answer, what solutions they should create, how validate hypotheses fast and what measure as success.

That's exactly where I come in.
*BANI: Brittle, Anxious, Non-linear, Incomprehensible

UX,
Strategy &
Leadership.
As a Service & Product Strategist for the last 11 years I’ve helped teams of all levels to get out of the collaborative chaos and solve complex business problems, guiding them through the the discovery process, using Design methodologies to get focus on the real problems, with goals aligned and leading them to test solutions with real users faster and effectively.

Innovation Leadership Specialization

Professional education program with 68 hours divided into 8 intensive weeks of learning. In this course I've developed leadership skills and the necessary vision to face the extraordinary processes of innovation that affect companies.

Human Centered Design Certification
7-week course that provided theoretical and practical knowledge to the methods and tools of human-centered design while tackling a real-world design challenge. Topics covered in the course included: human-centered design research methods, concept generation, and rapidly prototyping a solution to a poverty-related design. You can see the resume of the solution that me and my team and I created here .

Design Sprint 2.0 Certification
In this course, the Design Sprint methodology, applied by Google to generate and test ideas, was taught in its 2.0 version, which is leaner and more objective.

Marketing CBA
(Certificated in Business Administration)

The course develops the ability to understand the relationships between the marketing area and other areas of the company, identifying internal and external factors that influence management. With this vision, the student starts to understand the marketing management process as a whole, acquires skills to plan and implement integrated actions, seek and use market information for the decision-making process.

UX Specialization

In this course, the students gain an introduction to the breadth of UX design and understand why it matters. Also, they learn the roles and responsibilities of a UX designer, how to confidently talk about UX and practical methods that they can apply to daily work immediately.

Storytelling for Business Training

In the Storytelling for Business course, students learn how the techniques used by writers and screenwriters can also be applied in their daily work, whether in selling a product, presenting a project or to raise awareness for a cause.

Some organizations that my work has contributed to
In the biggest bank in Latin America, I've worked in many areas such as Tech, Business and Marketing. In this last one for example, I was the responsible to scale the human centered design methodology inside the area.

I was part of the team that planned a unique experience for the their employees.
We've created an "blind lunch" so they need to feed each other, only based on their feelings and feedback to acquire empathy between them.

As an innovation consultant, I helped them to create a gamified platform of internal innovation, phased in the 3 stages of systems:
-
centralized
-
decentralized
-
distributed

I've worked for the government's startup incubator in Rio and my main mission there was to create visual storytelling to position Rio Criativo as an innovation hub to get partnerships.
